Martin Lawler, a longtime customer who was born blind, just sent me a few words I’d like to share with you.

I first met Martin at the World Bodhrán Championship in Milltown, Kerry, in 2008.

Christian,
I am writing about your drums now.
When I met Christian and played his drums for the first time, I just fell in love with them instantly. They are really well crafted drums, they were so easy to tune up, so I knew I had to get one.
As I am blind since birth, my hearing is exceptional. So sound matters a lot to me. I can’t see any shiny finishes, but I can feel the fantastic craftsmanship and I just love the sound of Christian’s drums.
I now own four of his drums and they never let me down. My first blue MOS is still around and produces such great bass tones which I love so much. My brown one is my lucky drum because I got third in the All-Ireland with her twice!
Now I also got a CoreLine bullet, which is a bit smaller than what I am used to, but so powerful, its tones are so lovely, and it’s so easy to play with.
Over the years, I tried out many drums but always came back to yours, Christian.
Thanks for your work, I love your drums, and they have been a great part of my life since I touched the first one.
Keep it up, Christian, and thanks so much.
Martin Lawlor.
